I don’t just paint; my paintings capture memories. My oil paintings and pastels are inspired by the Impressionists. Whether you’d like to celebrate an anniversary or a success, capture your children in a fleeting moment of childhood, remember a beloved pet, or remember a favorite family refuge, an original art piece will serve for generations to come.
An original oil painting or pastel the perfect gift for a loved one, a treasured heirloom to remember the cherished moments of life in a way no photograph can. My favorite subjects are figures and landscapes; however past commissioned pieces include a family cottage, a sailboat in action, and several portraits of children. In short, your subject could be anything, and could begin from a photograph, a sketch, or simply an idea.
To begin the process, fill out the form below. Depending on the project, you may need to attach a single image or several images. No need for high resolution, I can work with any image as long as it’s a clear representation of what you’d like your painting to be.
Every project is unique; the price of an individual project depends on the scale and complexity of the subject. Prices for commissioned pieces start at $175. We will discuss choice of medium—graphite, pastel, oil, or acrylic. Sizes offered range from 8” x 10” to 36” x 36”.
Framing is not included. Pieces will be shipped well packaged and bubble wrapped. Shipping not included.
